Celebrating six months in Malta, in Sweden.

IMG_2265 Last Sunday I celebrated my first six months in Malta, and what better way to do that than to go visit my family in Sweden for the first time since then? My father always says that everything I do has an expiration date of six months because after that I lose interest in whatever it is I’m doing. I don’t know why these words and lyrics came to me the way they did and why I had such a strong reaction to them. If I were female I’d say I was having that time of the month ha ha. Anyway, you’ll find the link to listen to it below as well as the lyrics. I hope you like it.

I used a flat piece of metal to wedge on the side of the button making it play the vinyl in one speaker and the tape player in the other. I would put erasers or coins on the needle to make it go faster or slower and with this method I could actually beatmix two songs. This was at the age of 13 when I still knew nothing about Dj equipment so you could imagine my excitement when I for the first time got my hands on a pair of Technics 1210 and a mixer.
