The 2 week diet experiment – Conclusion.

DSC_3216 Two weeks have now passed and I have managed to lose 4 kg in that time. As you can see I haven’t been writing everyday during the second week because quite honestly it wasn’t a big deal living without sugar. I did miss it sometimes but it never became that hard that I fell for the temptation. The first week was by far the worst thing I’ve done to myself as far as diets go and while it was an effective way to loose weight by ditching all carbs and sugars it affected my quality of life to the extent that I didn’t want to continue with that extreme diet after the first week.

Carpe diem and the circle of life.

IMG_2587 It has now passed a bit more than a year since I got my first apartment in Malta. A rustic, earthy and lovely apartment with sea view from the huge balcony and swimming pool on the back of the house. I can’t believe it’s only been a year. As a person I’ve grown so much, learned, loved and experienced so much.

08.20 – Woke up starving at 06.20 this morning, went to bed hungry and now I’m about to faint. Omelet here I come!

The 2 week diet experiment – Introduction.

Today marks the beginning of an experiment which will last for two weeks. From today I am putting myself on a strict diet, a kind of extreme one. It’s based on Atkins diet but taken a step further and taking out as much sugar as possible, even fruit.
