Honored by spoken word legend, Taylor Mali.

A few weeks back Taylor Mali, who got me started on the whole USA coast to coast tour in 2006, contacted me to tell me that one of my pieces which I performed during my show at the Bowery Poetry Club in Manhattan, New York would be featured on a podcast.

Good marriage? Bad odds.

DSC_8304 If I told you that you ran a 50% risk of getting into an accident every time you drove a car, would you still drive? If I told you that 5 out of 10 people had AIDS, would you still occasionally “forget to use a condom”? How about if I told you that every time you get on a rollercoaster you run a 50/50 risk of falling out, would you still get on the ride?

The Assyrian Exodus.

It has been an interesting week with a lot of feedback, many new fans and a few new nemesis as well. That’s what they like to think they are anyway but what they don’t realize is that when the sun is shining and temperature climbs over 20 degrees, I am in the sea, swimming, splashing and having the time of my life so whatever hatred and propaganda people wish to display, I have to say… I could not care less. One cool thing to mention though is that my latest piece has so far this week put me at 6th place on the most watched Swedish Musician!

NEW SONG: Självmordet.

Assyrianism for dummiesSwedish rapper Ken Ring decided to write a song about “The Syriac Genocide”. Not only is that ignorant but very disrespectful to ALL Assyrians who fell victims of the Turkish and Kurdish violence in the early 1900’s.
