You don’t have to be brave, to be brave.
Yesterday I was watching an episode of Kings where one of the characters was celebrated as a hero for something that looked like a heroic act during a war. He was saluted, praised and celebrated for this “heroic act” and it lead him to an amazing promotion within the military.
When his brother later was gunned down on the battle field and they shared their last moment together before he passed away, the “brave soldier” confessed to what had happened and said that he didn’t deserve any of the attention. His brother told him that even if he didn’t deserve the attention up to this point, he could earn it now, by being brave, by being what they thought he was. He then went out on the battlefield with his brothers bloodied sheets and demanded to be killed by the enemy or to stop the war. Read the rest of this entry »


Knock knock. Hi, wanna play? Oh the simplicity of childhood. Why is it that in some regards rather than evolving from one thing to another we sometimes go the opposite way and become more retarded? How can we blame society for things we enable ourselves and become a part of?
